Third-world brain

I dare myself today to take a ride with my old bike to central of KL for a meet-up with my friend. Although his place is accessible by KTM, the thought of getting squashed inside the train for an hour journey and thrashing around to enter the train on weekend doesn't please me much. Plus, it might be a good chance for me to get accustomed with different routes and highway in KL.

Not surprisingly, I got lost three times along the way, traveled additional kilometers to find U-turn due to stupid planning (it must be nimcompoop that plan it.....), missed the last turn couple of times before I finally arrived my destination, took me an extra 20 minutes which was not too bad considering this is my 1st time went there.

Thank God it didn't rain down at all even though the sky looked a bit gloomy today and a tad bit hazy.

We proceed to the cafe at his apartment for lunch. This is where it get interesting to my experience. Last night, he reminded me to wear shoe and polo shirt, no t-shirt for today meet-up. I was quite baffled for his instruction a bit but decided to just play along and don't ask much. While we were having our meal, suddenly one of his colleague came up to him and ask whether he got spare shoe. Apparently, her boyfriend came to visit her there but can't make an order since he's wearing slipper.

I was like, WTH!!!????? This is totally stupid, to begin with. I know the apartment is part of one of a prestigious government body but do u really have to come up with such nonsense. It is just a cafe, for God's sake, where people come to eat and relax, not some 5-star restaurant or high-class dining place.

Encountering such balderdash really make my day. Stupid, foolish, absurd malaysian mentality
