Mindless rambling VIII

Seems like my post on 'missing life part 1: baking' is receiving reader directly from google search itself. Maybe combining 'baking', 'cake', 'cookies' in one post is not a really good idea. People looking up on internet for baking recipe stumbled upon such un-related and absurd post.

Hope that my friend that is into baking would not chance upon this blog out of that stupid post or I might have to take it down xD hahahahahahaha

On a happier note, I finally finalized what my research will be about with my supervisor. It was supposed to be just a short meeting with him this morning but it extended till 2 hours, almost ruined my lunch date with my friend. With that settled, now I need to start listing down all the machines, vectors, cells, sort of ingredients that I need to finish my 3-phase experiment. Need to get it done fast so that can ask my SV for the quotations since the grant is not bottomless =P

I'm really bored right now. It's not like I got anything to do over here and my financial situation doesn't allow lavish spending. So, going out isn't really an option. There's one thing I been planning to do but have no time to plan yet; taking up music class. Piano is something I really want to learn and play properly but the fee for the lessons really put me off. Been hunting down for cheap lessons around KL but not in luck to find one yet.

The other things in my future plan is continuing my gamelan lesson, the only instrument I learnt in Melbourne and it was very fun. The only downside, we can't practice it by ourselves, alone at home. Need to gather people together and practice all the instruments at the same time. Maybe the group in UM will be interested in finding a new member. Oh well, my wishful thinking xD huhu
