It was together with lunch at Kita no Zen but the main purpose I went there today was for the long-awaited dessert time =)
My lunch set for today was Unagi kabayaki zen priced at RM 38. The side dishes were just the same with my previous choice while the main dish this time was roasted eel. The eel was juicy, flavorful, quite thick and I believe it is fresh though after roasting, it is quite hard for me to determine the freshness by taste. I think this dish suit me much since the portion not too big and I managed to finish everything on the tray, even the chawanmushi xp
Off for dessert though I let my tummy rest for 15 minutes before I ordered dessert ^_^
After painful deliberation (too much tempting choices @.@), I settled for Macha crepe, priced at RM 9.80. On the menu, it was described as 'Hokkaido red bean rolled with crepe, topped with green tea ice cream, green tea sauce and Hokkaido red bean'. I described it in two words, YUMMY n TASTY!!!!! xD
The texture of crepe was done correctly, not too chewy and it goes well with the red beans and ice cream. I would say the ice cream is one of the best Green Tea ice cream I ever had. It is creamy, and full with flavor. I would certainly come back for that again, if anyone wanna treat me =D
There're a few more choice on the menu that I am dying to try such as 'Cold table parfait', 'Marshmallow Vanilla Caramel', 'Nama Choco Ice', and 'Macha Ice no Hokkaido Milk Parfait'. To anyone who drink, u can try 'Hokkaido Melon to Niagara Wine'.
I'll definitely come back with bunch of friends to try everything next time ^^
Love,
me
p/s : Calvin, come and join me next time but go dutch =P
