Sure enough, me been the only one with biology knowledge, he offered me to teach Biology since he would like to offer a complete package for science stream student. So he will be teaching mathematic, modern and additional, his sister can teach chemistry while his dad will take up physic.
But, here comes the big problem. I don't have the latest new but the last time I heard, the government decided to teach science and math in Malay again >_< I had learnt biology in malay during secondary school but that was 6 years ago. Ever since foundation year, I had re-write back my memory and translate them into English. So, I can already see myself laughing in class later if I were to teach it in Malay =D
It be funny trying to teach about 'persenyawaan' or 'kromosom' or all those gibberish not in english xD
Oh well, I need to evaluate the offer again considering the fact that I would be holed up in the lab when my research starts 7 days a week, 10 hours per day. As if I even have to time to socialize with others, let alone juggling additional job for extra money.

ReplyDeletewell, the proponent of malay will say like it will be disadvantagous to the not-so english oriented student as they will have hard time learning it in english..pro and cons ineverything..i find it easier to translate from learning in malay to english
Deleteyes well, the Malays have always been very much disadvantageous in the English department. Think it's time to change that.
Deleteyes, increase the quality of the teacher..it starting to diminish a lot(the new one) while the old one is been burdened with unnecassary admin work
