I went here last two days ago with my friends after the meeting with scholar. Heard bout this restaurant from other friend and the review given was not good. So, wanna confirm it myself plus we really had no idea where else to eat in Pavillion ^_^
They were having some sort of promotion for the Valentine month which ended on 29th of February. Two new sets were introduced for this month, Share-the-love and more-to-love sets. You could look for it in the
website. We picked more-to-love set since the set had bigger portion and there were five of us to share it. It came with one salmon royale platter and one small flame.

| Fried Country Mushroom |
We ordered two starters, fried country mushroom and cheesy fries. The mushroom were overcooked a bit and the portion a bit too small. The only good thing about it was only the sauce. I'm not sure what sauce is it but one thing for sure, it ain't tartar sauce. The cheesy fries turned out better than we expected. The cheese was not too thick and it tasted better than any other fries that I ever ate. Forgot to take the pic since it finished so fast ^^

| Salmon Royale Platter |
The main course for today. As you can see, there're few different dish in one plate such as salmon, mussel, prawn and fish. It also came with garlic rice. The salmon was bland, no taste even with the sauce on top of it. I used to eat smoked salmon and it way better than this one. I didn't eat mussel, so I can't comment on it much. The prawn was quite juicy and better than that salmon.

They would flame this dish in front of u before served it. I would say it doesn't taste as good as the presentation. Really not recommended at all.

| Mud Pie Madness |
This was the most disappointed dish. First of all, it wasn't as it was depicted in the menu. Second, it tasted just like magnum ice cream. Nothing much >_<
Overall, I would say the dishes value for the portion but not for the taste. Will I come back? Nah, not for now ^^

We didnt manage to finish it even if there were 5 of us and the menu said the preferred serving is for 4 only >_< there goes my diet for that day since i ate a lot of rice..huhu

i used to eat manhattan fish market long, long time ago at sogo, before the closed the outlet. i love it! but then havent been eating there since ages..

DeleteTheir standard dropped a little. Their rice used to be really nice! But overall, still ok. =)
