Blessing in awful disguise

My initial plan was to spend the last 4 days in KL touring shopping complex/restaurant and coming back late every night xD I couldn't carry out the plan since was inflicted with splitting headache and terrible stomachache on Sunday that last till Tuesday >_<

After 2 days bed-ridden, my friends asked me out on Tuesday night for some meet-up with I agreed to since I felt much better that time and really need some fresh air. During the meet-up, a friend told me that a professor at his place was looking for someone to do MSc in stem cell and asked me to go meet that prof. on Wednesday.

That Wednesday, the interview with the prof. lasted for an hour and we came to an agreement where I will start as a research assistant for 6 months starting from March till September since it's already late for me to register for March intake. I would register for September intake to further my study in Master.

Did I ever thought the illness would be a blessing for me? Hell no!!!! But turned out, if not because of that illness, I would be going out every single day for the the last few days in KL and I would miss the meet-up with my friends and I would not know about the vacancy in his place with regard to the project.

Is this a good or bad blessing? I will never know and I will let Fate's hand guide me again as I always let it do for the past 23 years of my life.
