Prosperity burger.
The first time it was launched long time ago, if I was not mistaken, McD create such menu in conjunction with Chinese New Year. Ever since then, this burger always come up nearer the end of year or near CNY. This year marked its 19th time it was made available for consumption.
Ever since then, I always craved to taste such meal. From the picture, it look so juicy with such tender meat and thick black pepper sauce. Never got the chance before because I'm so damn lazy to go out just for the sake to get one meal.
Due some errands today, managed to buy prosperity meal since I'm around McD for a while. One bite and I started swearing and cursing, good thing I'm at home or there might be another 'kfc' incident. The black pepper sauce flavor was so strong, I practically feel like my mouth and lips burning. I finished my drink after that 1st bite, that's how spicy it is >_< Let make it clear, I like spicy food but there is clear distinction between black pepper and chili spicy-ness.
Who the heck come up with such idea!?!?!? If this is really for chinese new year, I don't find any 'prosperity' in it xD I don't even think most of the chinese can eat it since as far I ate before, chinese food usually not too spicy, thus their taste bud prefer mild instead of super hot.
McD, you had been able to make the first dish that I hate. One thing for sure, I'm not gonna have it anymore after this. Once is enough =P lolllllxxx

Deleteomg.... to me it's like one of mcD's best creations xD. I love it so much :D. Well, everyone has their own personal preference ;). Don't go hating it all the way and for the very least the curly fries tastes awesome as well aite? :D

ReplyDeleteBut you know what, every year when it comes back, my mind will somehow be programmed to want to have it. Then I go to McD, have one, remember how hot it really is... and the cycle repeats itself year after year. :P
