Of honesty and critique

In cooking and baking, there is one thing that u need to be prepared to face after u are done, critique. That is if u want to improve.......

It may taste good to u but I'm sure other people's opinion won't be the same, if they are not dead hungry la =P LOLLLLLL

There are some of my friends that can't really accept when people give opinion on the food they made. I had seen enough share of my own experience that I decided to always hold back my opinion until it was repeatedly been asked for because sometimes, people ask for it just for the sake of courtesy without really wanting to hear the real response.

Me....well, I don't mind getting critique since I want to improve my skill in making the best one ever. It could be harsh to my ear after such hard work but if it's true, I'll accept it. After all, I cook and bake to let my friend enjoy good foods. So, might as well present the best.

And please, don't try to hide it if u don't like it. I may be sucky at deciphering cue from online chatting but my eye is pretty sharp when it comes to observing expression and gesture...

I brought the cake that I baked two days ago to lab today. It ain't my greatest cake but it was still edible. Someone took a bite and said it was delicious but from her action, I knew she actually think otherwise. She just nibbled at it for quite some times while waiting for me to go away, I think. That made me more determined to stay there and see what she gonna do =P The next thing I knew, she walked towards a friend of mine that was in front of the fridge and lo behold, the cake was gone from her hand and suddenly my friend was munching something eventhough he only got water bottle in his hand before this XD LOLLLLL

ahhh well..next time, just say it if u don't like it..no need to pretend though I pretty enjoy watching people trying to be nice when it ain't necessary =D
