Started the day with some good news from Tuls at 630 in the morning xP no dear, I don't mind ur whatsapp at such early morning since it was just half an hour earlier than my alarm only =D
Ever since then, just been in front of my lappy only; played game, refresh facebook tab, refresh blog page as well, stalking ppl, downloading porn.........
ops ops~~ ignore the last two..no no, I been a good boy since the break of dawn..see there got halo on top of my head =P
oh ya, baked cheesecake two days ago.....
Not the best one so far..had no idea why I can't get rid of the air bubble from the mixture no matter how long I beat it...end up, it looked like been poked by fork everywhere >_< plus, I can't find plain cream at any shop that I went to...tried to substitute it with thickening cream though I think that wasn't a good idea...
if u look carefully, u can see that the cake sort of fall down a bit in the middle and the top cracked a bit..the oven that I used is a bit weird one..brownies that took 45 mins to make need at least two hours if used that oven..so I really not sure how to time properly..end up I burnt the cake a little bit and the constant check made it worse....
nx time, maybe I will set it at 1 hrs 40 mins and just leave it there in the oven, hope it will turn out well..still got like 3/4 not finish yet..gonna bring it to my workplace tomorrow..I'm sure they dont mind eating it..hahaha =P
Upcoming week gonna be a hell for me...3 more weeks to go before submission date for my review..I'm sure need to spend lot more time at lab..no more going back by 5pm..sigh~~

Deletehahaha..pity u, the only time that u really enjoy ur holiday and it was only for 2 weeks..next holiday, make sure u apply for every single volunteer work available out there so that u can get far away from home =P
Maybe you're beating it too hard? Try slower beats to prevent air being trapped. But the cake looks real good. Looks smooth and creamy. Base looks nice but the top a bit baked would look nicer.. (ok I better stop here..haha)

hurm..not sure it because of the beating..I used mixer and the lowest setting available for it..I had made the same cake before but no problem with bubble at that time. yeah but a tad bit sour if u dont like sour..need to reduce the lemon juice a bit next time..true true but really need to have good control or else might burn and crack the top..u seems like a good baker..bake some cake and send over to me la..haha

Yeah but even using mixer u need to control how long u beat it. Very important. Too fluffy air will get trapped. Lemon suppose to be sour ma. Lol. Can I bake cupcakes n cookies (still learning). Lol. I charge delivery.
