Birthday celebration is not a big thing in my family. At most, we will just go buy a cake and eat together. That's all. No singing, no present, no nothing. So, I grew up without any sort of attachment/enjoyment whenever birthday comes. Even 5 years during secondary school, there was no celebration whatsoever with my friend and I don't really mind it.
Then came my 19th birthday. At that time, I was doing my foundation year hence, I stayed at hostel. It was on weekend for that year. Still, I didn't plan anything and just took it as another normal day. Lot of people wished through friendster(it was still hype at that time XD) eventhough they stayed like a room away only.
Suddenly at night, one of my friend came over to my room and wished me happy birthday personally.
