Gonna make a dash

Registered for a run this June. Only 10km since I don't dare to push myself too much. Started my training couple of days ago since it had been two years since the last time I joined such event. Need to build up my stamina back even if it just 10km.

Three laps around nearby lake, I'm gasping for breath already >_< In such a bad state right now with my legs aching. How the hell am I gonna finish 10km in 2 months time??? =.=

I wonder how people could run for half/full marathon. The full marathon is around 40+ km. Even half marathon, I can die already, let along full one. From where they draw such stamina and determination to continue such long period of running at a steady pace. I really envy them. I know it comes from a rigorous and disciplined training which I am severely lacking right now >_< But still, to even achieve such a feat, are they even human? Are u even a human, Tempus? hahahaha =P

btw, finished watching 'Spirited away'. It is really such a good movie by Studio Ghibli especialy if u are in for a good laugh. This is the first time I ever finished watching it from start till end. Maybe I will re-watch it when I'm bored. Till then, I'm more than happy to lend it to anyone xD hahahaha

  1. I pergi for all 10kms only la! I wanted to go half this year, but got cut short because of various reasons and problems la. My stamina down down down already also, then knee cap problem summore XD

    but nvm, I shall prevail. This reminds me of, I need to start training again!!!

    1. oh, a bit messed up when i read the post in ur blog..thought the men health run at putrajaya was half marathon xD better take good care of ur body lo..dont practice without rest lo =)

      what's ur target this time?30-40 mins again like last year??haha

    2. uhg.. don't know can reach anot lor.. maybe 50 mins this run. Without any burdens on the body la. Meaning have to REALLY start training di. Regime regime and regime!!!

    4. haha i had blisters back in last year's SCKLMarathon. But I'm smarter over the runs liao. Go get a good socks form nike la. rm 20 nia quite affordable.

      where got fly, i was always in the 1 hour plus minus range, so hopefully this time can make it better lor...

    6. nooooo today didn't work out to be a running day.. my legs totally went sore after my Body Combat session. Shit I have a feeling my legs are getting weaker and weaker man... need to eat more pork's knuckles!

    7. oh, slow down on ur other session a bit..i had no idea how eating that will make ur leg stronger but worth trying..even if it didnt work out, it be nice to the tongue..haha

      I ard skipped two days of running..blame the weather, been raining a lot lately >_<
