There is one easy way to find it out.
Be a JERK
A friend will put up with u if u cross the line couple of times and slap u back to sane mind even though he will bleed together along the process. He could just abandon u but the thought of losing u makes him try his best to knock some sense back into u. That is a sincere friendship.
The fake won't even think twice to sever the tie because he just befriends u on the face value. Once it's gone, why should he tolerate such absurdity from u. He gains nothing at the expense of losing a lot of things. For him, u are just one out of hundred of other friends that he currently has. There is no value for a spoiled toy.
Had I tried it?
Couple of times, unintentionally, but it did help me profiling my friends.
I don't think I could ever pretend to be a jerk as I'm suck at acting =P

Hmm. that wouldn't be ME to do that. I bang people right into their face if i despise them. Friends are supposed to be treasured, but of course it takes a lot to form that "treasuring" spirit. Like a few fights and misunderstanding, plus a cold war. That did right for me and my best bud~

maybe.. put what if it backfires? I mean like, to me if someone else did that I will be so intimidated to approach them again, unless if they tell me they were just having a bad day and our friendship do surpass all and beyond then ok la
Deleteof course we have to clarify it again with them. we are at fault when we treat them like a jerk. if u did it intentionally, then more so.
