operation Cake 101

Class starts next week and my work contract ended by end of August. This week I am practically free though once a while need to pop out at the lab if the supervisor requested. So,  on Tuesday, I decided to go out for a while. No more chance after this to hit the mall during weekdays =P

Not sure what grudge Mother Nature had with me. It had been nice and sunny all day but as soon as I hit the highway, the sky turned dark and the wind blow like crazy. Had to ride around 70km/h only as I scared been carried by the wind. I'm pretty light u know XD

Dropped by Amcorp mall to pick up my bookexcess membership card. It was ready a month ago but no time at all to go there. Too far and got nothing at that mall other than that bookstore. From my observation, I don't really think that mall can survive for long.

The next stop should be Pavilion since I wanted to give Meet Fresh a try but by the time I arrived at KLCC, already 3pm. Since need to be back by 5pm, there won't be enough time to go Pavilion. Just had to settle by having my tea there and also wanted to satisfy my craving for cake.

Hence, my 1st stop for my cake tour =D

My first prey - Cafe Vienna

Choc walnut. It was recommended by Calvin some time ago but I always full everytime I was there. He said the portion looked bigger than usual. So, don't care =P haha. If u asked me how good it was, let the next picture be my answer.

Yup, not a speck left after 30mins. The cake was nicely moist with perfect sweetness blended together with the crunchiness of the walnut. The portion of walnut inside the cake was pretty generous.

Guess what this drink call.......WIENER EISKAFFEE!!!damn, the name sounded so wrong xP Quite bitter though it suits u well if u have it with the cake.

The cake costed me 12 bucks while the coffee at 18 bucks. Not bad and the service pretty good.

Next stop - Plan B =D
