Be patient. Be understandable. Be happy.

The three golden rules.

Be patient when u are just starting dating him. The old always said Rome doesn't get built in one night. So, don't expect any fairy godmother to swing her wand and make him truly yours in one go. This isn't a fairy tale and reality can be harsh to one who is impatient. Bid ur time. Slowly going deeper into it. Build up the communication with him. Confessing after just knowing him for 2-3 weeks isn't the best thing u should do. U might be in for a terrible crash if u did it. After all, time is all u have right now. So, be patient.

U and him. Both of u guys has their own life. Don't expect him to be attentive to every beck and call from u. He has and needs his own personal space as well. Accept that life doesn't revolve around u alone. If u msg him and he doesn't reply, put down the phone and get going with ur life for a while. He might have works to do or assignment to attend to. Don't be clingy. Nobody likes it. Be understandable.

Finally, be happy. Just be happy whether he ends up with u or not. If u really love him, what matters most is his happiness, even with someone else. It will be really painful and hurt u enormously but seeing his smile is all that matters. So, keep ur head up high and be happy.

This is a stern reminder to me.
