wise men, not yet

It always make me laugh whenever I think about it. Me; someone that had never been through any relationship, breakup, life-changing experience or even family problem; has the guts to advise and counsel anyone that is in trouble, either been asked directly or just been a busybody =P

Most of the times, I realized that the one that is going through the hardship of life are quite clueless on how they have to react in that particular situations while people like me has 1001 solutions/answers to their predicament even though I had just been a spectator all the times. How irony, isn't it >_<

So far, I had been commenting on friends' problem through observation done on others and knowledge acquired through reading of psychology materials. In a simple words, I had never even tried any of the advises given >_< Whether any of the advice is just a total waste of time or make the thing worse, I had not a clue.

Lack of experience does impact the quality of my speech. When I read someone with experience's comment, it has a certain eloquence in it that mine lacks >_< It sort of intimidate me and make me feel unworthy to say anything.

Oh well, I might be smart but I'm not wise yet as long as the experience is not mine T_T

Love,
me

  1. I guess none of us are able to follow our own advices when we are in such predicaments. Maybe that's the reason that people who're going through certain things tend to appear clueless. In fact, I'm sure they know very well what to do. It's just that when it comes to your own feelings, we're all hypocrites; to put it bluntly.

We're NEVER able to follow the advice we give out to others when we fall into a similar situation. Sort of, not practicing what we preach.

    1. Yeah. We choose to believe otherwise most of time because if we dont, we will lose everything.

    2. Yeah I totally agree with Aiden!
It always seems easy to advise others, but in reality we are the ones who need to follow those words..

And I think everyone is entitled to have their say. Your opinion / advice is entirely your own, so no need to compare. As long as the things that you're saying is coming from a good intention, then there's no harm done.... (I think :P) hahahaha

    3. even with good intention, sometimes i hold back my words because I afraid it might cause more harm than good ^^

By comparing, I hope can better improve myself =)

  3. To me, you're always welcome to give your views. Just don't force them upon people :)

On a lighter note - have your 4 wisdom teeth come out yet? If not, then you're still not wise yet :P

    3. wisdom teeth could be dangerous especially when they came out unequally on each side..ur case the worst i heard..7 surgeries for that?it really hurt a lot >.<

    4. Ya lo, they are growing pushing forward my rear teeth (the upper jaw both sides); and growing 45 degree angle on my lower jaw both sides. The dentist planned 7 surgeries to save my most rear teeth as well as removing the wisdom teeth

  4. experience might be a faster way for you to learn. But observation and listening are equally crucial. You listen to people, you observe, and feel for them. Even though you might not be able to feel the same because you were not in their shoes (this is what people always say) but trust me, you will be a sensitive and understanding person. :)

    1. Yeah, I would never be in their shoe. That why I never give an advice if I never had a precedent =)
